1. Definitions
In these terms:
Cooling-off period: 14-day timeframe when you can cancel your purchase without giving a reason
Customer: Individual making a personal (non-business) purchase
Day: Calendar day
Subscription: Agreement for multiple products/services delivered over time
Durable medium: Any storage method allowing you to save information for future reference
Cancellation right: Your option to cancel your purchase within the cooling-off period
Cancellation form: The form we provide for easy cancellation requests
Company/We/Us: The business selling products or services to you
Distance contract: Agreement made entirely through remote communication (website, email, etc.)
Remote communication: Methods allowing agreement without being physically present together

3. Applicability
These terms apply to all our offers and sales
We provide these terms before you complete your purchase
If providing the full terms isn’t practical, we’ll explain how to access them
For electronic purchases, we make these terms available in a format you can easily save
If specific product terms conflict with these general terms, you may rely on whichever is most favorable to you
If any part of these terms becomes invalid, the rest remains in effect
Any situation not covered by these terms will be addressed according to their spirit and intent
4. Products and Offers
Time-limited offers will clearly state their duration
All offers are non-binding and we may modify them
Our product descriptions are detailed enough for you to make an informed decision
Images accurately represent our products, though colors may vary slightly on different screens
Obvious errors in our offers don’t bind us to honor them
Each offer includes clear information about:
Price including taxes
Shipping costs
How to complete your purchase
Your cancellation rights
Payment and delivery methods
Offer validity period
Communication costs (if any)
Order archiving and accessibility
How to review your information before ordering

5. Purchase Agreement
Your purchase is completed when you accept our offer and meet any conditions
We’ll immediately confirm your electronic order
We may verify your payment ability and refuse orders with proper justification
We’ll provide our contact information and details about cancellation rights, warranties, and service with your purchase
For subscriptions, the above applies to your first delivery only
All agreements depend on product availability
6. Cancellation Rights
For products:
You have 14 days to cancel your purchase without giving a reason
This period starts the day after you (or your designated recipient) receive the product
During this period, handle products and packaging carefully
You may only unpack or use products as needed to evaluate them
To cancel, notify us within 14 days of receiving the product using our cancellation form or by email
Return the product within 14 days of your cancellation notice
You must provide proof of timely return
For services:
You have at least 14 days to cancel, starting when the agreement is made
Follow our reasonable instructions for cancellation
7. Cancellation Costs
You’re responsible for return shipping costs when cancelling
We’ll refund your payment within 14 days of your cancellation
Refunds require either product return or proof of return
We’ll use your original payment method unless you explicitly approve another method
You’re liable for any product damage caused by careless handling
We can’t hold you liable for depreciation if we failed to provide required cancellation information
8. Cancellation Exclusions
Cancellation rights don’t apply to:
Custom-made products
Personalized items
Non-returnable products by nature
Perishable products
Products with prices tied to financial market fluctuations
Newspapers and magazines
Audio/video recordings or software with broken seals
Hygiene products with broken seals
Services for specific dates (accommodation, transport, dining, leisure)
Services that begin during the cooling-off period with your consent
Betting and lottery services
9. Pricing
Prices won’t increase during the stated offer period except for VAT rate changes
Products with market-linked variable pricing will be clearly marked
Price increases within 3 months of purchase are only allowed due to legal requirements
Price increases after 3 months allow you to cancel if we’ve specified this option
All prices include VAT
We’re not responsible for printing or typographical errors and aren’t obligated to honor incorrect prices
10. Product Quality and Warranty
Our products meet the specifications, reasonable reliability expectations, and legal requirements
Any additional guarantees don’t affect your legal rights
Report defects or incorrect deliveries in writing within 2 months of discovery
Our warranty period matches the manufacturer’s warranty
We can’t guarantee products’ suitability for specific applications or provide usage advice
Warranty doesn’t apply if:
You’ve repaired or modified the product
You’ve used the product improperly or carelessly
The defect results from government regulations on materials
11. Delivery
We handle orders with utmost care
Delivery address is the one you provide
We process orders promptly, typically within 30 days unless a longer period is agreed
We’ll notify you of delays within 30 days, giving you the right to cancel without charge
Delivery times are estimates only and delays don’t entitle you to compensation
We’ll refund cancelled orders within 14 days
If an ordered product is unavailable, we’ll offer a replacement with clear notification
Cancellation rights apply to replacement items
We cover return shipping costs for replacements
Risk transfers to you upon delivery or to your designated recipient
12. Subscription Terms
Cancellation:
You can cancel ongoing subscriptions with maximum one month’s notice
You can cancel:
At any time (not restricted to specific periods)
Using the same method you used to subscribe
With the same notice period we require
Extension:
Fixed-term subscriptions won’t automatically renew for another fixed term
News/magazine subscriptions may extend up to three months with a one-month cancellation option
Ongoing subscriptions may continue indefinitely if you can cancel with 1-3 months’ notice
Trial subscriptions end automatically without renewal
Duration:
For agreements longer than one year, you may cancel after the first year with one month’s notice
13. Payment
Payment is due within 7 working days after the cooling-off period begins
For services, payment is due after agreement confirmation
Report any payment detail errors immediately
We may charge reasonable collection costs for non-payment
14. Customer Support
We have a clear complaints procedure
Submit complaints within 2 months of discovering issues
We’ll respond within 14 days, or acknowledge receipt and provide a timeline for full response
If we can’t resolve your complaint, a dispute arises
For WebwinkelKeur members, customers can contact the WebwinkelKeur Foundation for mediation
Unresolved issues may go to the independent WebwinkelKeur dispute committee for binding resolution
Complaints can also be submitted via the European ODR platform
Complaints don’t suspend your payment obligations unless we specify otherwise
For valid complaints, we’ll replace or repair products at our discretion
15. Legal Disputes
Dutch law governs all agreements, even for international customers
The Vienna Sales Convention doesn’t apply
16. Additional Terms
Additional terms can’t disadvantage you and must be provided in writing or on a durable medium
